Robin had quadruplets (2 does/2 bucks) yesterday. Their sire is Brisbane. Photo below is one of the bucklings, who will be available after we evaluate if he will be offered as a registered buck or a wether. We may also have a polled doeling available. Clairissa Quinn had twin doelings on April 2. Their sire is Grand Design. Both of them are beautiful, long kids, and very personable already. I think we are going to retain just one because we already have their full sister (Tiger Eye) from last year, but it's going to be tough choosing between the two of them. If you are interested in the other one, please feel free to Contact us. She will come with ADGA & AGS registration.
Photos below are of the doelings at 3 days old. The lighter-colored one has blue eyes. It was a challenge to get them to stop playing long enough to get their photos -- they were zooming around their pen and, as you can see from the last photo, climbing all over mom. Edelweiss had triplet doelings on April 2. Another beautiful set of kids sired by Brisbane -- we're very pleased with the kids he is producing. And these triplets are so cute! They look like a trio of fluffy little stuffed animals. They have the excellent broad, deep muzzles and width throughout that is typical of the Heidi line (Edelweiss is Heidi's daughter). Two of them are cou blancs with wattles, and the third is a Swiss marked-cou blanc combo. Edelweiss is a doting mother and gives them lots of goat kisses.
Availability of these doelings is tentative (we might retain them all). If you are interested in one if we let her go, you may Contact us to get on the waiting list (note, however, that there are already a couple of people on the waiting list). Photos are of the doelings at just a few hours old. Quesadilla had quadruplets on April 2. They are sired by Brisbane and are his first kids. This is a beautiful litter with nice conformation and flashy colors. There are 2 moonspotted buckskin bucklings with wattles (1 of them has blue eyes), 1 buckskin/wattled doeling, and 1 cou clair-buckskin combo doeling with blue eyes. We will retain 1 doeling, and the other doeling will be available with ADGA and AGS registration. The bucklings will also be available after we evaluate if we will be offering them as registered bucks or wethers. If you are interested in these kids, please feel free to Contact us.
Photos below are of the kids at about 9 hours old. The second photo is the two doelings. SG Pholia Farm HB Claire 8*M AR had quadruplets on March 31. They are sired by Larkstone SP Grand Design *B Elite and are linebred on SG NC PromisedLand Ram-Beau ++B+*S VEE90 Elite and SG NC PromisedLand PAL Paloma 1*M 1*D AR VEEE90. Excellent, milky pedigree on these kids. There is 1 gold/wattled doeling, 1 buckskin doeling, 1 gold buckling, and 1 buckskin/wattled buckling. We plan to retain 1-2 of them, and 1-2 may be available after the current reservation is filled. If you are interested in these kids, please feel free to Contact us.
Photo below is of the kids at 2 days old enjoying a nap under their heat lamp. Avalon Quinn started our 2023 kidding season early this morning with a set of big, healthy quadruplets, 3 does and 1 buck. They were about 8 hours old in the photo below (buckling is the second one down from the top, and the rest are doelings). Their sire is Grand Design. We will retain 1-2 of the doelings, and the other doeling(s) will be available. They come with ADGA and AGS registration. Please feel free to Contact us if you are interested in purchasing a doeling. The buckling will also be available once we evaluate if we will be offering him as a registered buck or as a wether.
The first group of does is in the kidding stalls. In the photo, we have Budgie (due April 1) in the front of the right row of stalls, Robin (due April 1), and Quesadilla (due today, March 30). On the left side we have Edelweiss in the front (due today), Clairissa Quinn (also due today), and HB Claire (due April 1). Not in the photo are Avalon Quinn (who kidded this morning -- we'll post photos shortly) and Bunny Tracks (due April 1 or 6).
We will start moving a lot more does into the kidding stalls in the next day or two as they get closer to their due dates. Most of our mature does are huge this year, so we're expecting a lot of litters of triplets, quadruplets, and maybe more. We have 31 does due between now and mid-April -- needless to say, we'll be busy. :) Krebs RTB Pink Parasol - $ 550

All the medium/long-haired kittens are siblings that were born on Sept. 22, 2022. These kittens are accustomed to people, farm animals, other cats, and machinery. They are eating moist and dry cat food, and we also supplement them with fresh milk from our goats. Their mothers are excellent mousers and are training them to hunt by bringing them rodents to eat. These kittens would be good outdoor or indoor cats. They have been living outdoors, so they are adjusted to the winter temperatures here in Montana (though they will need a warm place to sleep if they are to live outdoors). No shots or early spay/neuter. We will not hold or deliver kittens or meet for pick up -- they must be picked up at our farm. No returns or "trying out your pet." Before you consider adopting one, we expect you to be prepared and willing to properly take care of kittens and to be patient while they adjust to the new environment of your home. *** Click Photos to View in Larger Screen *** |
