This afternoon we worked on getting some more goat photos for the website. It was a bit of a challenge because the grass is so deep in the pasture now, that the goats disappear, but we did get some nice photos, and we caught a few interesting moments in goatdom as well . . . .
Willow munching on thistles (yum):
Patty Pan thinks thistles are very tasty:
Little Lady, Miss Muffet, and Pumpkin (left to right) came over to say hi. I'd be thrilled if all my goats had Pumpkin's head and udder. Pumpkin and Miss Muffet are litter sisters out of Heidi, sired by QuentinQuinn. Little Lady is out of Ladylove, sired by QuentinQuinn:
Finally got a decent photo of Dove (she's suspicious of cameras--you can see her hackles sticking up in this photo):
Kasha looks just like her mom, Cookie, in a different color scheme:
10-year-old Heidi with her pleasant expression and "lipstick":
Heidi's daughter Elise, sired by DeClaire. Really excited to see how this doe freshens next year:
Peppermint looking beautiful (see more new photos of her here):
Here is Whisper. She is the sweetest goat ever. Who couldn't love goats after seeing that face?
