- All doe kids, buck kids, adult does, and adult bucks intended for breeding are registered with the American Dairy Goat Association and the American Goat Society.  Wethers are available registered with the American Goat Society for an additional $ 25.00 per wether.
- You may also be placed on a waiting list for these goats free of charge, but we do give preference and first right of choice to customers who have placed deposits.  We also often give preference to reservations for bottle wethers (versus weaned wethers).  Deposits are nonrefundable (unless, for some reason, we are unable to provide the goat, in which case the deposit will be refunded or transferred to another goat, as you prefer).
- Once you have agreed to purchase a specific goat, a nonrefundable half-down deposit is required to hold the goat until the agree-upon pick-up date.  We will not hold the goat if the deposit is not received.
- When we have a goat available that fits your reservation, we will notify you.  Please respond within 24 hours of when you are notified, as we will move to the next person on the waiting list after that time has passed.
- Kids are routinely disbudded.  If you want your goat to have horns, you must tell us and pay for the goat in full within 5 days of the goat's birth.  All monies received for non-disbudded kids are nonrefundable, because there isn't a large market for horned dairy goats.  Before you decide to keep the horns on your goats, please be aware of the pros and cons of doing so.
- Kids sold as wethers will be castrated before leaving our farm.
- We are happy to have the goats vet checked or tested prior to sale, at the buyer's expense.

Payments:

We accept PayPal, checks, or money orders.  All monies received are nonrefundable, unless the seller is unable to provide the goat(s), in which case monies will be fully refunded or transferred to another goat, as the buyer wishes.  Sales are final.  We do not accept returns.
Deposits must be used within 18 months of placement, unless otherwise agreed to or unless the seller is unable to fill a reservation prior to the expiration of that time.  Offers of refund or replacement also expire after 18 months of when first offered by the seller.

If you would like to make a reservation, please provide us with the following information:
- Email address and/or phone number.
- If you are from out of the area, your state and city.

- If you are from out of the area, your general plan regarding how you will transport the goat(s) to your location.
- Which goat(s) you would like to reserve, or which breeding would you like to reserve a kid from (specify gender, if any).
- If you are just getting into goats, please let us know.  If you are an established farm reserving doe kids, buck kids, adult does, or adult bucks, please provide information about your farm, including:  Do you show, milk test, and/or linear appraise your goats?

Pick up and Transportation:
Buyers are welcome to pick up their goats at our farm (we do not offer farm tours).  We are located in Western Montana.  Responsible nationwide ground transportation is available (excluding Alaska and Hawaii).  Please Contact us or visit 5 Star Livestock Transport or Blarney Heights Farm Transportation for more information.  The buyer is solely responsible for travel and vet expenses, including but not limited to veterinary fees, testing, health certificates, crates, etc.

All Goats must be picked up by the date agreed upon.  The seller is not required to hold them after that.  Care costs may apply for holding certain goats, or for holding goats past the original pick-up date.  Unless otherwise agreed upon at the time of sale, if a bred doe is left at our farm until she gives birth, we have the ownership of the kids to retain or sell as we choose.

We reserve the right to place goats at the farms where we feel they will be most happy and productive.  We reserve the right to retain any kid born on our farm.  We reserve the right to raise or lower the pricing of kids once they are born based on their individual qualities and those of their ancestors.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who:  1) We feel will not provide a good environment or proper care for animals.  2) Is unreasonable, threatening, debasing, harassing, argumentative, malicious, behaves suspiciously, is dishonest, has a track record of excessive vacillation, or tries to circumvent Krebs Dairy Goats' sales policies and guarantees.  3) Will not provide us with information we request for the purpose of sale and/or transportation.  4) Will not pay.

Guarantees
1.  All goats leave our farm in good health, but due to moving stress, etc., we do not guarantee health after the goats leave our farm.  We will gladly have the animals vet checked and/or tested prior to sale for the buyer's benefit or to comply with state import regulations, at the buyer's expense.   Please note that animals under the recommended age cannot be tested for CAE, CL, Johne's, and some other diseases because of the potential inaccuracy of a test conducted at those ages.  It is the buyer's responsibly to know their state's animal health laws and make arrangements accordingly.  We are not responsible for infringements of animal health laws.  We are not responsible for disease or injury incurred during transportation or any time after the animal leaves our hands.
2.  All kids that will potentially be used for breeding or showing are inspected to ensure that they are free of defects and evaluated for their fitness to be registered and used to perpetuate and promote the Nigerian breed.  We do not sell goats as registered if they are non-registerable or non-breedable due to disqualifying defects present at the time of sale.  Registered goats are sold with full disclosure of any faults--specifically being over height--that are present at the time of sale and that may affect their ability to compete.  We are not responsible for any such defects or faults that arise after sale and do not guarantee the adult height of kids and goats that aren't fully grown (4 years old or older).  We do not knowingly sell any animal with disqualifying defects, but we are not responsible for faults or defects discovered post sale in animals that are not registered with our farm name.  We do not guarantee anything regarding kids produced from a doe that was sold bred, nor do we guarantee anything regarding the progeny produced by goats purchased from us.
3.  We do not guarantee the fertility of does unless the animal was sold registered with our herd name but is clearly a hermaphrodite.  This must be reported to us prior to the goat reaching two years old, and a veterinarian's statement is required to receive a refund.  At no time will the refund exceed the original purchase price of the goat (refunds do not include the cost of vets, labs, or transportation, etc.), and we are not responsible for the placement of the animal if the buyer does not desire to keep it.  No returns accepted.
4.  We guarantee the fertility of bucks registered with our herd name when they have reached at least one year old but left our farm no more than one year prior to the first live service.  Buck infertility must be reported within 60 days of the first time he was used for live service after turning one year old.  This guarantee does not apply and no refund will be issued if, 1) the buck successfully serviced animals post sale, prior to the unsuccessfully servicing; 2) the buck was neglected or received insufficient feed and care of any kind; 3) infertility was due to an injury or disease incurred post sale; 4) the buck is not registered with our herd name.  A veterinarian's statement is required to receive a refund.  At no time will the refund exceed the original purchase price of the goat (refunds do not include the cost of vets, labs, or transportation, etc.), and we are not responsible for the placement of the animal if the buyer does not desire to keep it.  No returns accepted.
5
.  Does sold as bred are not guaranteed to be pregnant; just that they were exposed to a buck for normal servicing.  At no time are we responsible for problems experienced in pregnancy, birth, or any resulting kids.  The kids produced from does sold as bred will be registered with our herd name, unless their mother was paid for in full prior to breeding.  When the kids are to be registered under our herd name, the buyer is expected to follow our instructions regarding kid naming and sire initials.
6.  We do not guarantee that any animal will have a good temperament, though we try to give an honest representation of their temperaments to buyers.  We tame our kids and train them to have good manners with humans.  Goats, however, have minds of their own sometimes, accidents can happen, and we have no control over how animals are treated and handled after they leave our farm.  Therefore, we are not responsible for any human, animal, or property injuries that are caused directly or indirectly by animals purchased from us.
7.  To receive a refund or replacement for any reason, the goat's authentic registration paperwork must be signed over and returned to us.  We will issue the refund upon receiving the paperwork.  Refunds do not include the monies, if any, paid to vets, labs, transporters, etc., for the purposes of health check ups and certification, disease testing, transportation, or transportation supplies.  We are not responsible for any costs incurred after the animal was sold.
8.  The animal must be purchased directly from Krebs Farm for the above guarantees to apply.  Animals that were not purchased directly from us do not fall under the above listed guarantees.  The guarantees do not apply if you sell the animal and then purchase it back, or it was returned to you.
10.  Besides the above listed guarantees, there are no guarantees or warrantees whatsoever.
At No Time Will a Refund Exceed the Original Purchase Price
