Comb Type: Single Egg Color: Brown Egg Size: Large/Jumbo Weight: 5-6 lbs. Clean-legged The Montana Red Star is a larger, darker-red version of the classic Red Star. They strongly resemble the Rhode Island Red. They are excellent layers of large to jumbo-sized brown eggs. They are extremely friendly with a "lap chicken" personality. Hens are red with black flecking around the neck and black points on the wings and tail. |
